Brook Crompton is a manufacturer of electric motors for the global industrial market. Brook Crompton is currently one of the world’s largest producers of IEC metric frame motors.

Brook Crompton has been successfully designing and manufacturing motors since 1878. Brook Crompton motors are used in mining, water treatment, processing and manufacturing. They are sold chiefly to OEMs - particularly manufacturers of fans, pumps and compressors, mechanical handling and process machinery. Brook Crompton uses current design techniques like finite element analysis, thermal modeling, aerodynamic analysis, and sophisticated design models together with extensive test resources to ensure their products reflect cutting edge technology.

Brook Crompton’s current product range includes standard AC Motors (NEMA and IEC Metric in stock). Their AC Motor products include Drip proof motors; hazardous area motors; brake motors; axial airgap motors; plug-in motors; stator rotor units; and smoke extraction motors. Custom engineered Motors and DC Motors are available through special order.

Brook Crompton also offers a Variable Speed Motor which represents a new way to vary the speed of a drive. The cutting edge design integrates the motor and inverter into a single compact unit that is interchangeable with standard motors, UL & CSA approved, has flange and face mounting on all sizes; a local control panel to program the inverter.
