Thrust Type Needle Roller BearingsIKO Thrust Needle Roller Bearing
Thrust Bearings consist of a precisely made cage and rollers. They have high rigidity and high load capacities and can be used in small spaces. Thrust Needle Roller Bearings incorporate needle rollers, while Thrust Roller Bearings incorporate cylindrical rollers. Various types of raceway rings are available, and suitable bearings can be selected according to the operating conditions. When the bearing mounting surfaces of a machine are heat-treated and finished by grinding as raceways, Thrust Bearings can be used without raceway rings allowing the machine to be made more compact. They are most suited to applications where high accuracy is required at high speeds and under fluctuating heavy loads, such as driving mechanisms for automobiles, machine tools, and high-pressure pumps.

Standard Type Cam Follower (CF)
This is the basic form of cam follower. Line up of size variations range from stud diameters of minimum 3 mm to maximum 30 mm, and they can be used for a very broad range of applications.

Solid Eccentric Stud Type Cam Follower (CFES)
Since the stud is designed with eccentricity, by rotating the stud, alignment is possible, and adjustments can be made easily so that the load distribution to the outer ring outside diameter surface will be uniform. It is an eccentric cam follower with integrated structure in which attachment can be made to the same attachment holes as the Standard Cam Follower. The amount of eccentricity is 0.25 mm - 0.6 mm.

Eccentric Type Cam Followers
Since eccentric collar is fixed to the stud, positioning in the radial direction against the opposing track surface can be conducted easily. The amount of eccentricity is 0.4 mm - 1.5 mm

Thrust Disk Type Cam Followers
Since a special synthetic resin thrust washer that has excellent wear resistance and heat resistance is built into the sliding contact portions among both shoulder portions of the outer ring and stud head as well as the side plate, it will receive axial load of the outer ring generated by attachment errors, etc., and it has the effect of preventing wear and friction of the sliding surface

Centralized Lubrication Type Cam Followers
Since tap hole processing is conducted on the stud for centralized piping, it is most suitable for places where centralized piping of oil supply is necessary.
Easy Mounting Type Cam Followers
Since stepped processing is conducted on the stud, the stepped portion is fixed in place from the top with a setting screw, and attachment is easy. It is suitable for applications such as pallet changer

C-Lube Cam Followers/Miniature Cam Followers
This is a cam follower in which thermo-hardening type solid lubricant (C-Lube) is filled in the bearing space. C-Lube is a lubricant made by solidifying lots of lubrication oil and fine particles of high molecular polyolefin resins by thermal treatment, and suitable amount of this lubricant will seep out continuously to the track surface by the rotation of the bearings, and the lubricating performance of the bearings is maintained for a long period of time.

Thrust Disk Type Miniature Cam Followers
This is a miniature cam follower to which a thrust washer made of special synthetic resin is built into. It receives the axial load of the outer ring generated by the attachment errors. It is effective in preventing wear and friction of the sliding surface.

Inch Series Cam Followers
Two types, CR and CRH, are available in the Inch series Cam Followers. Black oxide film treatment is made on CRH models.

Raceways are provided on the inside surface of the track rail, and a slide unit mounted inside the track rail travels along the raceways. The U-shaped track rail has much higher rigidity as compared with the track rail with a rectangular cross section, especially under moment and torsion.   • Compact Linear Bushing (LK) is a linear motion rolling guide, incorporating steel balls and a retainer compactly in an external cylinder which is made from a thin special-steel plate by precision drawing, carburizing and quenching. Compact Linear Bushing can be used to greatly reduce the size and weight of linear motion part of machines, because its sectional height is as small as 4 to 5mm and it is mounted directly on the shaft which is used as the raceway. Steel balls are guided accurately by the retainer, so frictional resistance is small and a highly accurate linear motion can be obtained. Compact Linear Bushing is tightly fitted in the housing bore with an interference, so it is not necessary to fix it axially and handling is easy.
  • Miniature Linear Bushing (LMS) is a miniature type linear motion rolling guide which travels along a shaft to achieve endless linear motion. The shaft diameter is 3-5 mm.   • Stroke Rotary Cage (BG) is a compact linear motion rolling guide with low sectional height. Steel balls having very small size variation in diameter are held in a retainer.   • Flat Cage (FT/FTW…A) is a precision linear motion rolling guide consisting of a high accuracy cage and very precise rollers and features very low sectional height. The result is a precision positioning table which consists of a direct-acting series, along with a ball screw or motor, incorporated between a bed and a slide table. The series ranges widely, from a module type table to a high-precision version. The Precision Positioning Table Series is used as the positioning mechanism for a variety of applications, from semiconductor manufacturing equipment or flat panel display manufacturing equipment, to precision equipment. Using this positioning table or electrical equipment for your control needs contributes to an overall reduction in the man-hours required for design and assembly

Ball Screw Drive

  • Precision Positioning Table TU Series is a compact and slim type positioning table, consisting of a U-shaped track rail and a slide table. The slide table assembled inside the U-shaped track rail is an integral part of a linear motion rolling guide mechanism, in which two rows of large diameter steel balls are arranged in four point contact with raceways. Owing to this design, stable high accuracy and high rigidity are obtained in operations even under fluctuating load varying in direction and magnitude and complex load. Also, by adopting a U-shaped track rail, the rigidity of track rail under moment load and torsion is greatly improved. TU Series includes six sizes with a track rail width of 25 mm to 130 mm. For each of them, slide table length can be selected. Also, ball screw types and leads, motor types, and sensor installations, etc. can be selected to obtain an optimum positioning table suitable for each application
  • Precision Positioning Table TE is a light-weight compact positioning table featuring that its main components are made of high-strength aluminum alloy and the slide table is placed inside a U-shaped bed
  • Long Stroke Precision Positioning Table L (TSL…M) is a light weight and long stroke type positioning table in which two rows of high accuracy and high rigidity type IKO Linear Ways are incorporated on a slide table and bed made of high-strength aluminum alloy together with precision ball screws in the drive mechanism. Parallel arrangement of two sets of Linear Ways achieves stable and high running accuracy and positioning accuracy as well as high load capacity. Many variations in table sizes and stroke lengths are available. Dedicated XY brackets are also available in this series. So an assembly such as an X-Y robot can be readily constructed suiting the requirements in each application. When capillary plates are attached, the maintenance work including grease-up for Linear Way and the ball screw can be greatly reduced.   • IKO Linear Motor Table LTLinear Motor Table LT (LT…CE/LT…LD/LT…H) is a direct drive positioning table featuring a low sectional height and light weight. An AC linear servo motor and an optical linear scale are compactly integrated in the moving table and bed made of aluminum alloy, and miniature type linear motion rolling guides IKO Linear Way L are assembled in the table guide section. Linear Motor Table LT, adopting a C-shaped magnet yoke arranged in-between two stator magnets together with a moving coil, provides large driving force and achieves high speed and quick response positioning.   • Linear Motor Table LT…M is a compact positioning table having an AC linear servomotor between a steel moving table and a steel bed together with an optical linear encoder.

A moving magnet and an optical linear scale are assembled in a moving table made of steel which plays a roll as a magnet yoke. A stator coil and a linear scale sensor are integrated with a steel bed which acts as a coil yoke. Furthermore, floating cables are completely eliminated by adopting a unique design in which the linear scale sensor is arranged on the bed.   • Nano Linear NT…V is a compact linear motor table that has excellent functional beauty by arranging magnets and scale for optical linear encoder to the movable steel table, and stator coil and head for linear encoder to the steel bed. For the guiding portion of the table, we adopted C-Lube Linear Way L which realized a maintenance-free period of 5 years or 20,000 km, and are contributing to the reduction of maintenance man-hours. By adopting high performance neodymium magnets for the rotor, although the size is extremely small, a maximum thrust of 36N is exhibited, and it makes high-speed, high-response positioning possible. Furthermore, since the mechanical contact portion uses Linear Way only, high cleanliness is realized.
